Ducklings have webbed feet. They also have soft feathers called
a down and there down can be yellow or brown. People can have ducklings
for a pet. A male duck is called a drake and a female duck is called a
duck or a hen. Some ducklings live in trees and they jump out into the
water. Ducklings live in clean fresh water. Ducklings eat seeds, bread,
little fishes, berries, grapes, peas, corn, green beans, worms,
hard boiled eggs, snails. They also like to stay in the water and swim
around. Ducklings are the best because they have a cool life and they
are my favourite animal in the world. They also do not get their new
feathers wet. Ducklings can’t feel the cold water because they are
used to it. There are 48.4 million ducks in the world. Ducklings learn
new ways from its mum.
Lots of interesting information about ducks. Mother ducks are very good mums, they do teach their ducklings the things they need to know. i have watched nature programmes about the ducklings that leap in to the water from trees ect. They are very brave.
