kiwi collage using google drawing

Today we did kiwi collage with Mrs Minehan. She showed us a video to teach us how to do it then she said it is our turn to try. First we had to go into google docs and go on explore. When we went on to explore we wrote brown texture for its body and head. Then we wrote into explore again to get yellow texture for its beak and legs you put them in different shapes. It had to look like a kiwi.

Tranformation using grids

 Today we found an accredited image on Explore and selected it to use on our page. We then put a 5x5 grid on it so we could copy the image and make it original. Mrs Minehan selected the first two images so we could understand the process, then we got to choose our own image. I found the first one  quite hard so I done the second one.

The second one was easy and hard at the same time

I chose the image of the tree because the koru one looked too hard

Making a speech

I have been learning how to write my speech about the Earth. I have been working on my speech for at least 2 weeks now. I have facts about when the earth was made, how old the earth is and how big it is.
It was challenging making it flow and picking what to write and what not to write. Have you ever written a speech before?

Making graphs on Google Sheets

Graphs are fun to do on paper but it is really cool to make them on Google Sheets.  You have to get all your data and put it on the google sheet, then we had to highlight it and click on the graph button. It was magic because it made a graph out of the data. Have you ever made a graph on google sheets?
